Mayor of Esenler M. Tevfik Goksu was elected Mayor of Esenler for the fourth time. Goksu received 50.49 percent of the votes in the March 31, 2014 Local Administrations Elections.
On March 31, 2024, M. Tevfik Goksu, who was again nominated as the candidate of the People’s Alliance as the Mayor of Esenler for the Local Administrations Elections, was re-elected for his fourth term. M. Tevfik Goksu received 50.49 percent of the votes in the Local Administrations Elections on March 31, 2014. Goksu, who carried out his election campaigns with the slogan “There is more to come”, will continue to serve as mayor in the new term with projects that appeal to everyone from 7 to 70, from urban transformation to safe city, from environment to recycling, from cultural and social life to sports, from employment to home economy.
