Children from Gaza gave peace messages to the whole world at the International Peace Bread Festival organized by Esenler Municipality for the 14th time this year. Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Askin Bak, Governor of Istanbul Davut Gul, Mayor of Esenler Municipality M. Tevfik Goksu and many citizens and children attended the program held with the slogan "We Bake Peace Bread Together with the Children of Gaza, the Honor Test of Humanity".

Mayor of Esenler M. Tevfik Goksu was elected Mayor of Esenler for the fourth time. Goksu received 50.49 percent of the votes in the March 31, 2014 Local Administrations Elections.

Esenler becomes 100 percent safe

Esenler Municipality has taken the first step of the "Safe City Esenler" project, which will be another first for Turkiye. Installation of 1166 cameras planned to be built at 435 points has started.
